When starting as a warlock, the talent build is one thing that you need to set right first because it will affect the rest of your warlock’s life. A warlock has three talent trees that you can focused on; this guide will cover the affliction tree.

Affliction warlock using DoT (Damage over Time) as their main killing method with some talent from other trees just to raise survivability. Your main spell will be Haunt, it has three awesome effects: dealing shadow damage, increase all DoT damage, and convert the damage to heal you; this spell is a powerful combination when mixed with Life Tap. These are other talents that you need to get:

1. Improved Curse of Agony; increase this spell damage by 10%

2. Suppression; boost hit % and reduce mana cost.

3. Improved Corruption; boost your corruption damage by 10%.

4. Improved Drain Soul; as you kill by using Drain Soul, you will get 15% mana.

5. Amplify Curse; lessen curse’s cooldown.

6. Fel Concentration; just to open the next talent.

7. Nightfall; a gateway to Shadow Trance state.

8. Empowered Corruption; increase your corruption spell.

9. Shadow Embrace; great for DPS and debuff.

10. Siphon Life; gain life as you attack your opponents.

11. Improved Felhunter; restore mana ability for your pet, great when pairing with Dark Pact.

12. Shadow Mastery; increase your Shadow spell damage or life drain by 15%.

13. Eradication; probability to increase spell casting speed.

14. Contagion; power up your DoT and make it even harder to debuff.

15. Dark Pact; use it on your pet to gain some extra mana.

16. Malediction; raise both your spell damage and the chance for periodic critical strike.

17. Death Embrace; makes you even more powerful at near death state (health below 20%) by adding drain life and damage bonus; the last one will make the fight shorter.

18. Unstable Affliction; great DoT spell and nice present for anyone try to dispell it.

19. Pandemic; increase critical rate by your DoT.

20. Everlasting Affliction; restart your Corruption spells duration; this will make your opponent even more frustrated.

Blend some Demonology talents:

1. Improved Healthstone; boost the effect of your healthstone, merely for filler.

2. Demonic Embrace; boost your survivability against AoE attack.

3. Fel Vitality; increase your pet stats, useful for Dark Pact use.

This affliction build is not the only one since you can alter many points here and there to fufill certain aim; for example: other WoW warlock guide may recommend to add some points into Shadow Bolt and complement it with Nightfall. Through making use of the most appropriate build that fit your playing style and your party skills, you can use your warlock at its full potential.

For you who enjoy spending your time at the PvP Arena with your teammates, I believe that you’ll find this paladin guide for pvp very useful. With a paladin in your team, you will gain serious advantages over your opponent such as blessings and healing. Anyone who ever fighting against a team with experienced Holy paladin in it must know how he/she can give the opponent very hard time in battle.

Being a Holy Paladin does not mean you should go deep in Holy tree; some paladins in the Arena PvP have tried to combine Holy and Retribution and it is works well for them. Yet, in this Holy Paladin talent build I will focus on Holy/Protection build (all maxed apart from the one which I put note):

Holy

1. Spiritual Focus: you will definitely cast Holy Light often, making this very useful.

2. Healing Light: improving your healing power.

3. Divine Intellect (1 point)

4. Unyielding Faith: useful against Priest and Warlocks.

5. Aura Mastery: an anti Silence; nice since you are practically nothing without your spells.

6. Illumination: an additional mana resource.

7. Improved Concentration Aura: Reduce duration of Interrupt.

8. Pure of Heart: something that you’ll find handy against all those nasty Warlocks.

9. Divine Favor: when you wish greater healing or damage.

10. Sanctified Light: possiblity to increase your healing and attack.

11. Holy Power: increase the critical effect chance for your Holy spells.

12. Light’s Grace: can be useful in dangerous situation that require quick action.

13. Holy Shock: fast damage for your enemy or healing for your allies.

14. Holy Guidance: increase your spell power.

15. Divine Illumination: useful if you are going to cast spell that cost large amount of mana such as Beacon of Light.

16. Judgement of the Pure:increase the power of your Judgement spells, which will makes your opponent’s life even harder.

17. Infusion of Light: useful in certain situations.

18. Enlightened Judgements: an additional power up for your Judgement spells.

19. Beacon of Light: Saves mana when you have to heal several characters. If you want, you can cast the beacon on yourself.

Note: Beacon of Light cost 35% of your base mana, which is a lot. If you have the chance, put Divine Illumination before casting Beacon of Light.

Protection

1. Divinity: improve your healing.

2. Stoicism: good protection against stun.

3. Guardian’s Favor: power up your hand spells.

4. Divine Sacrifice: use it with your bubble spells.

5. Improved Righteous Fury: make it even more difficult to kill you.

6. Toughness (1 point).

7. Divine Guardian: make you even tougher.

8. Improved Hammer of Justice: use it at the right time; it will greatly distrub your opponents and can save your friends. Other Paladin PvP guide may suggest taking Improved Devotion Aura instead, but I believe more Hammer of Justice can save your team from many potential dangers.

Holy Paladin talent build offer many ways to keep you and your allies save; don’t only stick to your healing spells to keep the team survivability, use other spells such as Sacred Shield, Hand of Sacrifice, and Divine Sacrifice.

Just remember that having Hand of Sacrifice and Divine Sacrifice doesn’t mean that you will be in a difficult position. If things start to get out hands, cast Beacon of Light to protect yourself and focus on keeping your friends alive.

Different Paladin PvP Guide focus on different playing style, but I think Holy Paladin is hold more important role in PvP Arena than the one that focused on damage dealing. If you play your skills and spells right, you can keep the team survivability while helping them crushing the opposing team.

Mining is a collecting profession along with Skinning and Herbalism; in World of Warcraft, you can find lots of resource nodes in various zones where you can use your mining skill. As a miner, you’ll get ores, minerals, and stones; players who take Blacksmithing, Engineering, or Jewelcrafting as their profession can use it as ingredients to produce something else.

The market always hungry for raw materials to fulfill their recipes requirements, thus make Mining a great gold making profession; in this case, a miner who utilize the right World of Warcraft Mining Guide will earn a lot more than the one who just mine anything in his sight.

Mining locations are the most important part, nevertheless, there are a couple of things you should do before you start mining:

First, look for a trainer and get trained in mining. You’ll meet different trainers based on your faction. These trainers are divided in 3 levels:

1. Regular Mining Trainers; he can teach you from Apprentice to Artisan level (level 300). Brock Stoneseeker at Thelsamar, Loch Modan is one of your choices in Alliance faction. As for Horde character, you can visit Makaru at Valley of Honor.

2. Master; he’ll teach you the Master Levels (up to level 375). The one for the Alliance section is Fono at Aldor Rise, Shattrath. For the Horde side, Hanlir at Scryer’s Tier is one of the two options.

3. Grand Master; he will be your trainer for Grand Master Levels (up to 450). Look for Grumbol Stoutpick at Valgarde, Howling Fjord for Alliance faction and Brunna Ironaxe at Warsong Hold, Borean Tundra for Horde faction.

Second, buy a mining pick from trade goods, mining supplier, blacksmithing supplier, or engineering supplier. Always put it in your inventory before you go to mine something.

Third, if you have spare gold get enchanted gear to boost your mining skill. Several tools to consider: Enchanted gloves with 5 to mining skills, enchanted gloves with 5 to all gathering skills, a goblin mining helmet with 5 to mining skills.

Fourth, check your minimap with “find minerals” enable. It will show you various nodes where you can mine raw materials and display color code to show the mining level needed. Red means your mining level is not high enough for that node.

The next is the essential part of this World of Warcraft mining guide: Mining Locations:

1. Copper: Azuremyst Isle, Darkshore, Dun Morogh, Durotar, Elwynn Forest, Eversong Woods, Mulgore, Tirisfal Glades.

2. Tin Ore: Hillsbrad Foothills, Redridge Mountains, The Barrens, Thousand Needles.

3. Iron Ore, Gold Ore, and Mithil Ore: Arathi Highlands, Stranglethorn Vale, Badlands, Desolace, Stranglethorn Vale, Tanaris, The Hinterlands.

4. Dark Iron Ore: Burning Steppes, Searing Gorge.

5. Truesilver Ore: Tanaris, The Hinterlands, Winterspring.

6. Thorium Ore: Silithus, Un’Goro Crater, Winterspring, Eastern Plaguelands.

7. Fel Iron Ore: Hellfire Peninsula, Zangamarsh.

8. Adamantine Ore and Fel Iron Ore: Blade’s Edge Mountains, Nagrand, Netherstorm, Shadowmoon Valley.

9. Cobalt Ore: Borean Tundra, Dragonblight, Howling Fjord, Zul’Drak.

10. Saronite Ore: Icecrown, Sholazar Basin,The Storm Peaks.

Being a miner can earn you adequate amount of gold on regular basis because the market will always hungry for ingredients and raw materials while there are only a bunch of players who take Mining as their profession.

I hope by the time you finish reading this World of Warcraft mining guide, you already made up your mind on the mining locations and have better picture on Mining profession.

Each race possesses unique start zone, this is exactly why you’ll need a particular Draenei leveling guide to level your Draenei toon. However, you will only make use of the particular guide before you reach level 12 or so; after that, you’ll be able to travel to various zones and level your character with general Alliance leveling guide.

In this Draenei leveling guide, I’ll tell you how to level your toon in the quickest possible way: completing quest after quest. Here is what you must do: go west and speak to Megelon to take “You Survived!”. After that, proceed southwest and meet Proenitus to turn in the quest and get “Replenishing the Healing Crystals”.

Once you’ve done, proceed west to meet Botanist Taerix and take “Volatile Mutations”. Defeat enough Volatile Mutations and Vale Moths until eventually you accomplish each of the quests. Get back to Botanist Taerix to submit “Volatile Mutations” and get “What Must be Done…”. Also, don’t forget to find Apprentice Vishael to get “Botanical Legwork” quest.

Once you accept those quests, return to Proenitus to submit the completed quest and get “Urgent Delivery!”. Speak to Zalduun inside the building and take “Rescue the Survivors!”. While you’re at this, complete your class quest as well. Leave from the back entry and meet Vindicator Aldar and Technician Zhanaa to take “Inoculation” and “Spare Parts”.

You’ve finished with accepting quests for the moment; go west from the camp and find the “Draenei Survivor” and cast “Gift of Naaru” at the survivor. Continue going west; you’ll find a purple field where you’ll be able to obtain corrupted flowers and kill Mutated Root Lashers to complete your quests.

After you gather every item necessary to complete your quests, go back to the crash site and meet Apprentice Vishael to submit “Botanical Legwork”. Also, speak to Botanical Taerix to turn in “What Must Be Done…” and get “Healing the Lake”. Walk into the building to locate Zalduun and turn in “Rescue the Survivors!”.

Through the brief Draenei leveling guide above, I’m certain you’ve got the picture on how the leveling process works. Naturally, when you have just started and there are not much quest alternatives available, all you need to do is taking all of the offered quests and get it done simultaneously whenever you can.

On the other hand, you simply cannot do that once you’re free to go to other zones and get tons of quest choices. Why? You need to pick quests which can be completed simultaneously, provide ample rewards, and do not take too much time to accomplish.

To do that, I suggest you have yourself an optimized in-game leveling guide that does not only cover Draenei leveling guide, but also other races too. You will have the creator and his staff research the best route for you so you can get the most benefits from the quests and level your Draenei toon in the fastest possible way.

The game World of Warcraft really does not begin until the last level of the game. Everything that comes before is designed to help you learn how to play the game.

So it is natural for people to want to level up quickly, so they can get to the actual game faster. There are many factors that will affect how quickly you achieve new levels. You must know which quests to pursue, which talent trees you should tap; and this is just the tip of the iceberg.

More information on choosing a talent tree.

Warlock is a class that is a pure damage dealer or DPS. You may not believe that the talent tree you select is vital since they all of them exist to do damage. However, this is not the truth. A major factor in leveling quickly is known as mana efficiency. You do not want to have to drink to have your mana replenished all the time. The most beneficial talent tree is called “Affliction”.

If you are an Affliction Warlock, you will increase your damage over DoTs (time spells). If you have a “Soul Siphon” or “Siphon Life” talent, you are excellent at draining health. This means if you “Tap” you will be able to get your health back easily. Once my Warlock leveled up, I had no need to halt my progress to drink. I did not have to rest at all, and the levels flew by.

Some people like leveling up through the Demonology route. I did try this, but it was not nearly as fast. It also wasn’t as much fun because the pet actually did all the work. The game just wasn’t as much fun. The final tree is “Destruction”, and you should avoid that as long as you are trying to level. It is incredibly mana inefficient and you will find yourself constantly seeking renewal.

Considering questing?

If you are trying to get a lot of XP, Questing is the way to go. However, you need to know that Blizzard developed so many quests that you will only be bogged down by them. You will not get very many XP, and you will spend a lot of time to finish.
