Warriors are known for their higher endurance, unafraid of harm they fight at the front of the line and are the backbone of any fighting force. Although Warriors have something of a reputation as the invulnerable juggernaut of the battlefield, this is not the whole truth. Properly supported by healers and ranged fighters Warriors can be extremely efficient fighting machines, when alone however they are often at the mercy of their foes Magic making teamwork more important for them than other flashier champions. A tactical play is key to succeeding as a warrior, defend your healers!

Warrior offers a few different approaches to fast leveling. Most sources agree that picking a damage dealing specialization and solo questing/grinding is the quickest way. Other will tell you that Protecting others and being a tank in the 5man dungeon system is a faster way. Ultimately it will be for you to decide, each path offers unique rewards. Soloing as a damage dealer can be fast, though may miss the true feel of the class, Tanking on the other hand will help you make a name for yourself. Everybody loves a reliable tank.

Arms is the heavy hitter of Warrior play, the spec people play to see the large crits and to swing the big weapons. It is balanced between attack and defense and starts off strong at lower levels. Grab the overpower or rend gyphs depending on your preference to increase your efficiency. Expect to bandage and eat frequently while soloing.

Fury on the other hand while starting off in clearly weaker than arms grows quickly in popularity when you have enough talent points to get Bloodthirst, an attack which heals you and does good damage; with Bloodthirst glyphed it is possible to solo quest and grind without stopping to eat or bandage for hours, a fine choice for speedy leveling.

A Warrior depends more on the quality of their equipment than any other class so keep your gear fresh. Prot Warriors prize Defense Rating and Stamina over other stats and offensive warriors go for Strength, Crit Rating (Agil at early levels) and Stamina. Every warrior should have a shield and sword for emergencies, since the class lacks good escape maneuvers and you might find yourself having to defend a healer from a stray enemy. When it comes to damage dealing items “of the bear, monkey & soldier” are most helpful. For protective warriors items “of the bear, of stamina, and of the champion.” are best. Coming changes to WoW will see Defense rating removed from gear, but for now it is the top dog of tanking stats.

Warriors are looking at some major changes in the cataclysm expansion so discussing exact rotations won’t be of a great help as they will likely change drastically. However there are a few constants that can help you stand out as a skilled player. If you are a damage dealer, you can still contribute to mitigation; interrupt harmful spells before they are cast with pummel or a shield bash. If your tank in a group is not a warrior than throw down the odd thunderclap to help reduce the incoming damage. Be ready go grab stray enemies and off-tank, this means having a shield and one hander at the ready. In PvP defend your healers any way you can, it might mean disarming enemies, or using intimidating shout or at later levels even intercepting and taking a hit for them. When it comes to grouping, healers come first!

Killing quickly and effectively using extremely fast attacks, and a combination of high critical and hit rate if possible, is the main focus of Fury leveling. When these stats are combined, it can generate a blender-speed whirlwind, with two inserted weapons of choice, when mowing down enemies or mobs. With this build, the downtime is lesser since it is lending itself when taking down enemies with lesser time spent, and minimizing the time enemy spends while hitting you at the same time. This can also reduce downtime to almost a nil when combined with bandaging. Although the most common build for a fury warrior is the dual-wield, it can also use variations such as the two-handed fury with a leveling speed that goes somewhere in between the dual-wield and the arms build.

In leveling style of warcraft, the second fastest style is the Arms Build. It is the styles were most players’ best choice and commonly play using PvP servers and good for PvP build. Arms Build is the best for both leveling and in the battle grounds or co called arenas. It really picks up in terms of mortal striking. It means that it can post 40 mortal strikes and finally start to get up to 20-40 to the blinding speed of the Fury Build. It will become the best equalizer when you are in the field of questing zones.

There is always a big comparison to every warrior in every level. And the warriors that have the slowest solo-leveling specialization are the Protection Warriors. Not to mention the gear and the ability to play, Protection Warriors are very slow and too low on damage output and downtime management. Yet, it is not time to surrender for there is still a big chance to overcome any level as long as teamwork between all Protection Warriors are combined then that is absolutely a good thing to consider. Though, it is not totally the thing to level up for it cannot increase the speed, but it will surely make the players enjoy the game.

When you are on a level up, of course there is another advantage to gain. Tanks become very useful then for tougher group quests and or the elite group quests. And what is very important is full protection for all your partners. In party-players build, these particular warriors have essential major roles to consider especially there is a vast of massive damages needed to overcome every enemy attacks. So it is up to the player now how to deal every opponents or enemies in every battle just to continue the game, of which, it is still an advantage to use killing attacks in every damage build to make killing speed faster.

Choosing the right gear is fairly simple since the core statistics of a warrior is basically concentrated on strength, critical, stamina, and agility. Stamina is essential due to the fact that some players prefer to have more health, especially those who are used to being a tank. For a warrior, strength, agility, critical, stamina, and other statistics such as the hit rating, haste rating, armor penetration, intellect and spirit, all plays a vital role in a warriors build, one way or another.

The more strength the warrior has means more attack power and more damage. Agility may slowly decline in usefulness, although it may add up some dodge and defensive stats. Critical will first appear somewhere in level 40 but it would still be on a low amount. Stamina is what most players prefer to have because of one obvious reason; it is to have more health which is essential in PvP and for tanking. Hit Rating is one of the most unnecessary statistics when leveling but can be of importance for PvP and for additional raiding damage output. Armor penetration has minor utility. Intellect and spirit should not be included on any piece of your gear. Haste rating is essential for long fights and raiding.
