The following World of Warcraft Druid guide should get you headed down the right path when you are starting out as a Druid.

The Druid is a shape shifting hybrid class which allows you to approach many different play styles and this is the reason why it is one of the most versatile classes in the entire game. Druids of every Spec can find a role for themselves at the end-game whether it’s Raiding or PvP.

Just like with the rest of the classes in World of Warcraft, the talents for Druids are split into three categories, or trees. Let’s take a look at what each of the Druid talent trees can offer.

The Balance tree which focuses on damage spells that will make the Druid a very efficient spell damage dealer. Some Balance talents will modify the cost of Healing Spells which is crucial for any good healer, while others will be helpful when in the feral forms.

The Feral Combat tree that uses the shape shifting Druid forms of Cat, Bear, and Dire Bear, focus on either tanking (Bear and Dire Bear), or on melee DPS (Cat Form). Learning the right time to change forms is very important. If specializing in the Moonkin form, you need huge amounts of maximum Mana, and some Feral Combat talents will modify it.

The last tree, Restoration, will focus primarily on healing and make the Druid a great healing class because Druids can acquire the Tree of Life form. Some of the Restoration talents, such as Furor, will allow the Druid to use Rage while in the Cat and Bear forms. There are other talents which will reduce the mana cost for shape shifting by as much as thirty percent.

There are some setbacks to becoming a Druid that you need to know. It can be hard to focus on one thing because there are so many different strategies for Druids. It is also a necessity to carry enough equipment for your character in order to fill the needs of all of your forms. They will all require different gear sets.

This Druid guide will prove useful in the plan of the Druid that you would want to play.

Until your Druid reaches level 41 where it will form special attributes according to the tree that you choose for them, it is very much a hybrid. Being thus, Druids are good at mostly everything but lack the depth that is required when compared to the more specialized classes. Druids, for example, are fighters but are outclassed by Warriors, they heal though less potent than Priests, could be stealthy where the Rouge is better and casts spell but below the potency of those conjured by Mages. Being a jack of all trades, ruids lacks the flexibility and the power that are attributes of other classes in the game.

What is special about the Druid is their ability to shapeshift at any given moment, ability that other characters in the game could not do. The ability of the Druids to shapeshift, adopting to other forms with different functions and do those functions soundly makes the it an attractive character to have on your side. This skill makes them tanking like a Warrior and at a flick could be shifted and cast a spell well as do the Mage. Druids uses the power of nature when sustaining friends or attacking the enemy.

So what would your druid be?

The easiest part is to pick the race for a Druid but then remember that there will only be one druid in a faction. All you do is decide whether the Druid will be involved in an alliance or will join a Horde. That is your strategy where you will have to base the development of your Druid from.

When you are working at specialization, there are three trees with different set of abilities that you will choose from. The trees are Restoration, Feral Combat and Balance.

When you choose to build your Druid on the skill tree of balance the druid will, as the quest move forward will, be developing and improving its capability as caster damage dealer. Building your Druid from this tree will make it effective for raiding. In moonkin form, the druid benefits the raiding team, allowing them plus 5% in critical strike rate. When the choice is to build your Druid from the feral combat tree, the Druid gains great stamina in tanking. When you decide your Druid to melee, it could be shapeshited and then do great DPS. The restoration tree will equip your Druid with the ability to enhance healing for the whole raiding party of up to 6%. In the World of Warcraft, the Restoration Druid ranks among the best healers.

To complete this Druid guide, it will be well to remember to setup the Druid with the appropriate attire. Generally, when the Druid is to be at risk of receiving damages, it should be fitted with the best leather armor, the rest depending on their participation could take other armor choices.

I have been playing online and over time have developed Wow characters that have proved very valuable. To learn more about my Druid guide, you can check out my site.
