I took in a WoW gold guide as I wanted to learn the best way to earn my money in this game. That’s because even my main was always undergeared compared to my guildies, and I never had enough money to get my enchants, gems or flasks for the raids. They didn’t even invite me for some raids and that really hurt.

So, I devoted myself to studying the best methods to make gold in World of Warcraft described in this WoW gold guide. This really helped and after a while I even had enough to help out my friend. Auction House Gambling

You may have guessed, it’s based on buying low and selling high, but to make nice profits this way is not just that simple. Mining and Herbalism

Collecting minerals or gathering herbs can bring you nice profits in World of Warcraft. Even if not maximized, these professions can still bring you nice profits if you know where and what to gather. For example, I prefer to gather flowers or rocks between 250-300 skill level. Players don’t like to visit the level 50-60 zones and sometimes there is a total lack of these resources in AH. This allows me to sell them all for spicy prices.

Turning Honor Into Gold

This works, of course, if you don’t need the honor points to buy gear. However, if you don’t just by playing a few BGs every week plus, completing the Wintergrasp quests will grant you a few tens of thousands honor points that can be changed for epic gems. These can be sold for nice cash.

I hope these methods will help any WoW player make a quick buck at any time. This isn’t though, a step-by-step description of all the money making techniques in WoW. I am a giant believer in learning from others and avoiding their mistakes. It’s especially so in PC games and the people that have been playing for years more than you are bound to know more about it - so when I started I read a WOW book. The problem is although this was a nicely bound players guide full of maps and tables that wasn’t what I really needed. I mean who reads tables with skill levels, damage ratios and all that stuff - the tables were so tiny I could hardly read them anyway.

My World of Warcraft book was very much like the Dungeon experts guide I have for playing DD that is’s packed full of useful tables as well - can’t believe I used to work out the proportionate damage from a fall and multiply it by a dice roll. No what you want with World of Warcraft is down to earth advice - practical things that make the game more fun that is’s why I always buy the unlicensed guides written by people who are actively wasting their lives in World of Warcraft right now and justify it by creating some kind of guide. The irony here is that a number of these writers make a small fortune out of these WoW Gold Guides. But hey good luck to them.

An example of one of the tips from a guide I read recently was very simple but effectively saved me hours - rather than me speeding backwards and forwards from the auction house with my backpack full of goodies to dump simply create an alternative character and leave them expediently found near an Auction House and a mailbox. You can then just mail your goodies back for your alt to offload at the auction house - I mean how incredibly simple is that and yet it saves loads of time !

Why I did not consider it is perhaps why I can never write a World of Warcraft Book although I might be better fitted to the useless table kind of publication.
